Registration Reminder

Just a reminder that registration for WILU35 is now open at: http://library.acadiau.ca/wilu/.
Space is limited, so register soon: some events are nearly full!

Registration is CA$290 and includes one pre-conference workshop, allsessions, a banquet dinner, all (hot!) breakfasts, all breaks, alllunches, and a cocktail and hors d'oeuvre reception.

Take advantage of local scenery and flavours by joining us for dinner onthe Fundy shore at the Halls Harbour lobster pound (non-lobster options also available). The quintessential Maritime meal at one of Nova Scotia's quaintest fishing villages! Details at: http://library.acadiau.ca/wilu/menu/hallsharbour.html.

The picturesque town of Wolfville, situated on the shores of the Minas Basin in Nova Scotia's lush Annapolis Valley, boasts the world's highest tides and the world's smallest natural harbour. High tides during WILU are predicted to be 45 feet.

Lobster Pound and other Dinners on May 11

In grand WILU tradition, the second evening of the conference is dedicated to "Dinner on your own". No, you are not actually expected to dine all alone. The idea is that conference goers will gather in smaller groups, hit the town and dine in recommended area restaurants. This year's "dinner on your own" will take place on Thursday May 11.

The WILU Planning committee has reserved space at several areas restaurants. Please see a complete list here. There will be sign up sheets available for most of these restaurants when you arrive at the conference. However, the Halls Harbour Lobster Pound requires your attention in advance. If you decide to dine on lobster at this famous establishment you will need to indicate this on the registration form, pre-order and pay in advance. There is a cap on the number of people who can attend the dinner at Halls Harbour so register early. For more information about the Halls Harbour Lobster Pound supper please click here.

Full Conference Programme now Online

The WILU 35 conference programme is all set and is now posted on the website. Be sure to have a look at all the sessions being offered as you will be asked, when you register, to select each concurrent session you plan on attending.
